Marble Cake

Preparation time: 20 minutes


  • 2 cups of flour (a water-cup sized)
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of melted butter (or 1 cup of oil, or half a cup of oil and half a cup of butter)
  • Half a cup to three-quarters cup of Jena Milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of Jena Vanilla
  • 5 big eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of Jena Starch
  • 3 tablespoons of Jena Baking Powder
  • 3 tablespoons of Cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons of apricot jam

How to prepare:
1. Egg whites should be separated from the yolks,
2. Egg whites should be whisked well with a pinch of salt and a pinch of sugar then left away,
3. Egg yolks should be whisked well with the rest of sugar and Jena Vanilla,
4. Add the butter to the yolk mixture gradually and then add the jam without stopping the whisking and then add the milk,
5. Add the flour with the baking powder and starch by a spoon,
6. Then add the whisked egg whites by a spoon too,
7. A part of the dough should be taken and added to the cocoa,
8. Start pouring the dough in a greased and floured mold as follows:
* Put an amount of white dough, then the dough with cocoa, then the white dough and then the dough with chocolate and so on....
9. Take a fork and try to form the dough on the marble form,
10. Bake at 200 ° C for 5 minutes and then at 175 ° C for 35-40 minutes.
